Hey guys and gals, my names Scott. Some awesome looking Bronco II's led me to this site, definitely some cool builds and I like smaller forums compared to those with thousands of members.

Bought this Explorer a couple years ago specifically to build into my first true offroad 4x4. Living 5 minutes from the dunes, I had spent most of my life building sandrails and owning quads. Got this thing all done, wheeled a few times and then had to sell my DD, so the Explorer has been serving DD duties for 2 years now. Finally got a new DD and a second income again so the will be doing some more work on the Explorer and hopefully a lot more wheeling!

SAS Thread over on Explorerforum.com: http://www.explorerforum.com/forums/showthread.php?t=206049

Nice ride, where you from. Most of us on here are in MO, Some AR and OK and Texas.

You will find out this is a sloooow board, but thats kind of the way we like it, basiclly just a place to talk about and plan wheelin trips and then post the pics from them.
Not a whole lot of tech talk or new builds here. Tech and pretty much anything is welcome though.

From Coos Bay, OR. Yeah noticed there was no one from around here, no matter, I like looking at pics and videos. I'm really considering moving away from the Explorer and going with a Bronco II. The B2's on this board, especially yours are what caught my attention.

Totally forgot I joined this forum! Haha! Been too busy for internet anyways. Tore the front end out for a total rebuild and coat of POR 15. Removed the rear AAL and built a longer shackle. Removed the interior and bedlined the floor. Built a bumper to mount the winch I got for Xmas from the wife. And here's some pics...
