The Destroyer was bought
with one thing in mind, to see how long it would
last while having maximum fun with it. We also
thought it would make a great donor rig when we were
done with it. Destroyer was a 91' XJ with a
4.0L,auto and a 242J transfer, stock running gear
with 32"s. It took only 3 months to completely
destroy this rig, but it was a lot of fun. The first
time out was pretty good, just a little thrashing,
the second time, it spit out both front axles
climbing out of the waterfall at Seymour, the third
times a charm, rolled it, broke the front traction
bars and bend the coils into a U shape. After a
little more abuse (thanks to The Punisher running it
over) it was stripped apart and used for donor parts
for The Black Widow.
